FARC Bloc(k)s edit

I'm thinking about moving all of these pages so that the word "block" is replaced with the word "bloc." What do you think? --Descendall 05:25, 28 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Seems like you're right. Thanks. --Colombiano21 18:35, 30 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

jose fernando torres varela edit

Do not add non sense to wikipedia,[1] even though you erased it from appearing in the article that difamation constitutes a blockable offense. please refrain from doing that, it's really unnecessary --I am greener than you! (Lima - Charlie - Over) 04:16, 4 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

As you may realize, what I did was delete the nonsense, not post it. Colombiano21 23:20, 4 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

EPL active edit

got references??--76.19.149.244 (talk) 02:08, 4 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

From the Fuerza Aerea Colombiana's website:

Map of FARC fronts edit

Hi, do you have, by any chance, a map of all the localisation of FARC fronts ? Thanks Kormin (talk) 17:33, 8 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Unfortunately I do not. There used to be one on the Commons, but it was removed recently. It is still cached on Google Images however: [2] ; there might be a way of recovering it? In either case, it was not a very good map. Perhaps someone wants to take on a project and do one? :) Colombiano21 (talk) 20:20, 8 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Unsourced edit

Hi there, thanks for the message. Basically I am concerned about WP:BLP. Some things like "he is thought to be very dangerous" or "considered the most wanted" and other things like "he was involved in X massacre" cannot be done without a source and need to be removed so as not to open Wiki to liability. It could be defamation. If you can find a neutral source then we can add it back, no problem --Tangola (talk) 13:04, 22 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Wholesale revert edit

Do not make wholesale reverts like you did here, you removed good edits along with bad ones. Please take more care when you try to fix problems in the future as such whole reverting is unhelpfu, for instance you restored unsourced info that had been fact tagged since March and correctly deleted by me. You just seemed to walk all over my edits without even bothering to check them. Thanks, SqueakBox 13:57, 29 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hi. I am assuming good faith in your edit and I assume it was a mistake. However, please take a look at my edits, after reverting the vandalism last night I brought back your corrections. Then you reverted me and brought back the vandalism [3].
I assume this was a mistake on your part since you seem to know your way around here quite well.
Let me know if there are any questions or if I have made a mistake.

Re:US-Columbia FTA edit

Hey. Thanks for the suggestion, I took a look at it and it certainly needs a lot of work. I fixed a few things but I'll start major work on it when I finish reading up on the subject. If you take a look at it in a few days and let me know if you see any improvements. Thanks --Patrick (talk) 01:24, 10 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Image Jacobo.jpg. edit

hey son of a bitch, you is not no one to decide whether to delete my picture or not. Everyone has the right to know about Jacobo Arenas and the image is not violating copyright. So if you are jealous because my jodase image, that image is because it stays. if you delete it is to win the repudiation of Colombians not to leave an image of a deceased FARC leader. I do not want to support FARC EP but that Colombians live in a utopy where we revive our history. please leave my picture still. cabron --Hanita16 (talk) 01:24, 15 February 2009. (UTC)

Hi. I have no issues with you, or political agenda. However, the image does seem to violate copyright and is thus a liability to Wikipedia. I would greatly appreciate it if you found an image of Arenas which is not a copyright violation, as it would add a lot to the article and the encyclopedia. Thanks, Colombiano21 (talk) 19:25, 15 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Questions about ranks of FARC hostages edit

What's a "Patrullero", "Agente" and "Intendente"? I think that a "Professional Soldier" is basically a Private. In June 2001 and February 2009, the FARC released all the Patrulleros, Agentes and Professional Soldiers but they kept an Intendente named Alvaro Moreno. Are Patrulleros and Agente's lower ranking officers? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.127.203.135 (talk) 19:34, 14 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
