"We are aware that there is an issue with reporting false positives. A fix is being worked on."

Please disable this robot from making edits and reversions until it knows what it is doing. Wikipedia is a human project that assumes users act in good faith. Having edits reverted by a broken robot is harmful to the project. I am aware you have a reporting system, but it should not even exist. Aquinassixthway (talk) 10:18, 30 December 2018 (UTC)

@Aquinassixthway: ClueBot NG has a very low false positive rate, and despite numerous attempts over the years, disabling the bot has only been shown to be a net negative to the project by allowing unreverted vandalism to slip through and increasing the burden on recent changes patrollers. The bot currently has a 0.1% false positive rate as stated here; this rate was agreed upon by community consensus at the time the bot was written. User:ClueBot_NG/FAQ#If_there's_room_for_improvement,_why_don't_you_shut_down_the_bot_until_false_positives_are_reduced_or_eliminated? makes it clear that the nature of the bot means that there will always be room for improvement, and that if we shut it down, we will never reach a point where it is "perfect" enough to turn it back on. Humans make mistakes as well, so it doesn't quite make sense for a bot that has been designed to try to think like a human should be expected to be perfect. —k6ka 🍁 (Talk · Contributions) 13:23, 30 December 2018 (UTC)
I'm going to ping in Cobi, seems only fair as it's his bot that you're asking us to disable. I added the sign to the top of the page as opposed to disabling the bot - I've never blocked this bot before but it has been blocked before and it has shown to be more detrimental to do this. I can't remember what the original bot's FP rate was but CBNG's is 0.1% which is extremely good. You've said on your talk page that this is a human project - actually we wouldn't be able to do a lot of the work without any of the robots. This article from the BBC will show you just how much work the Wikipedia robots do. Fear not though - they are still not going to replace human editors any time soon  -- 5 albert square (talk) 23:11, 31 December 2018 (UTC)

Archiving Errors

Its appears that ClueBot III is archiving sections at WP:GL/ILL off by a month. Pbroks13 (talk) 14:41, 9 January 2019 (UTC)

ClueBot III not archiving?

Can someone tell me what I did wrong here? Thanks! Sario528 (talk) 18:20, 17 January 2019 (UTC)

Never mind. Apparently the bot just took longer then I was expecting it to. Sario528 (talk) 12:17, 23 January 2019 (UTC)

Old data

Want to add new data Mohib Ali Bukhari (talk) 10:35, 22 January 2019 (UTC)

Hi Mohib Ali Bukhari, this talk page is for ClueBot NG and ClueBot III, two Wikipedia bots that edit automatically. If you're looking to edit a page, simply click on the "Edit" button at the top of the page you wish to edit and make your changes. If you need help with editing, there's a help page for you, and if you have questions about editing, please ask them at the Teahouse rather than on this talk page. This talk page is primarily for discussion relating to ClueBot NG and ClueBot III. Thanks, —k6ka 🍁 (Talk · Contributions) 11:16, 23 January 2019 (UTC)

Contact me please

Would someone on the ClueBot NG's team email me, please? I would like to discuss something in private or on IRC #wikipedia-simple connect. Thanks! Operator873talkconnect 03:57, 26 January 2019 (UTC)
