Substing

edit

When using certain template tags on talk pages, don't forget to substitute with text by adding subst: to the template tag. For example, use {{subst:test}} instead of {{test}}. This reduces server load and prevents accidental blanking of the template. ST47Talk 18:51, 17 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

hello again

edit

hello, do you remember the vandalism on your user page that stated user: Halo and user: christian? that was me, and im sorry. I was frustrated that you were atheist. now, i have calmed down and came here to apologise. please forgive me.

Neato--two Atheist, Utah Wikipedians. What are the odds? Actually, I could probably calculate them if I were more dedicated and had some statistics about Wikipedia. Metalrobot 19:33, 9 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

no, it is nothing more than a personal vendetta on my part, I realize my actions, and I apologise. Adam Hill A.K.A. the guy who sent a scathing e-mail to his inbox. 71.200.98.184 21:12, 22 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Image replacement

edit

I replaced the You're Winner! image with a Jpeg version. I used 3% compression, resulting in little quality difference (especially at such low resolution), and a big drop in filesize (especially when scaled in the article).--Drat (Talk) 06:46, 22 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Shaq tv.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Shaq tv.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 04:50, 18 February 2008 (UTC)Reply
