Hello, Circe.leo and welcome to Wikipedia! It appears you are participating in a class project. If you haven't done so already, we encourage you to go through our training for students. Go through our online training for students

If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}} before the question. Please also read this helpful advice for students.

Before you create an article, make sure you understand what kind of articles are accepted here. Remember: Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and while many topics are encyclopedic, some things are not.

Your instructor or professor may wish to set up a course page, and if your class doesn't already have one please tell your instructor about that. It is highly recommended that you place this text: {{Educational assignment}} on the talk page of any articles you are working on as part of your Wikipedia-related course assignment. This will let other editors know this article is a subject of an educational assignment and aid your communication with them.

We hope you like it here and encourage you to stay even after your assignment is finished! TJH2018 talk 19:26, 6 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

Draft notes

edit

Hi, Circe.leo. I've taken a look at your draft. As the comments left on there note, there are some changes to be made before you'd want to add it to Wikipedia. In particular I'd like you to look at the existing articles on Incarceration of women in the United States, Gender-responsive prisons, and (to a lesser extent) Incarceration of women. These may be good places for you to add to with the work you've done. Adam (Wiki Ed) (talk) 18:10, 17 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for starting this article. I hope you don't mind, but I added the article to Wikipedia:Wiki Loves Pride 2016/Results, which tracks new and improved LGBT-related content as part of an ongoing Wiki Loves Pride campaign. If you create or improve other LGBT articles between now and the end of June, feel free to update this page with your contributions. Thanks again! ---Another Believer (Talk) 00:28, 5 June 2016 (UTC)Reply
