Speedy deletion nomination of Christopher Yao

Frustrated?

You seem a little frustrated at the attempts to remove an article you created. Most of us have felt that frustration. Over 10% of the edits I've made to Wikipedia are in articles that are now gone, but that's life.

There are several articles I've not started because I realized the subject of the article would not meet Wikipedia's requirements and the article would be deleted. Over time, you'll get a feel for what is and is not an appropriate subject for an article here.

When I was new, I found articles on subjects I was already familiar with and edited them. Later, I started editing other articles and creating new ones. I've been around almost 3 years now and I've seen a few of my articles get a mention on the main page as a "Did you know" article for a few hours. I have yet to write a Good Article or contribute heavily to a Featured Article but they are on my to-do list. Good and Featured articles are usually a result of teamwork.

Even after Wuhwuzdat (talk · contribs)'s "last warning" above, you again removed a deletion template from an article that is under consideration for deletion.

If I were an uninvolved administrator, that is, one who wasn't editing Christopher Yao or one who is involved in its deletion process, I would probably WP:BLOCK you for the duration of the WP:AFD discussion due to your continuing vandalism related to this deletion discussion. You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Christopher Yao. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period. Additionally, users who perform several reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. When in dispute with another editor you should first try to discuss controversial changes to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors. Should that prove unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection. The above sounds hostile. It's not personal, it's part of a template. Personally, I hope you have a long and productive career here at Wikipedia, but you need to learn respect some long-standing practices. One is to not remove deletion-discussion templates, as that is considered vandalism.
