Assistance needed in dealing with user. --Christopher Kraus (talk) 20:04, 23 March 2009 (UTC)

Hi there.
The best thing to do, first of all, would be not keep putting the links back, but instead to to the articles talk page ('discussion page'), start a new section, and explain there why you think that the links are fine. Then, go to each users talk page, and ask them to look at the article talk page.
Please try to assume good faith - discuss the issue with the users. Avoid getting involved in an edit war, by talking it through. Argue about the issue, not the person - avoid comments directed at people, such as "trouble user".
If you're unable to come to an agreement with the user, follow the dispute resolution procedures.
I hope this helps, --  Chzz  ►  20:12, 23 March 2009 (UTC)

Those links are not reciprocated on the other parties 'See Also' links. I am only looking for neutrality. One sided and blatant advertising is unwelcomed.5126CricketStore (talk) 20:36, 23 March 2009 (UTC)

It isn't really blatant advertising, Pocket, Revol, and Metro are similar companies.--Christopher Kraus (talk) 00:14, 24 March 2009 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of List of Everex Products

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article List of Everex Products, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

Non-notable product listing, per WP:NOT

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. AfD nomination of List of Everex Products

I have nominated List of Everex Products, an article that you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of Everex Products. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time.

Please contact me if you're unsure why you received this message. MBisanz talk 21:25, 27 March 2009 (UTC)

Speedy deletion of List of Everex Products

A tag has been placed on List of Everex Products, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam as well as Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. I42 (talk) 23:44, 27 March 2009 (UTC)

Hi. I've fulfilled your request for rollback. Please fully review WP:RBK, and remember to use the tool only for the purposes of remiving vandalism or to self revert when there is no need for a full edit suammry. Thanks for your hard work and happy editing!. Pedro :  Chat

Hollywood Private Hospital

Hi. Regarding this edit, may I bother you for a more specific explanation? I'm guessing that you are referring to the lead section? (I can't see anything in the body of the article that reads like an advertisement, or am I missing something?) I have removed a few words and phrases from the lead. Have I addressed your concerns sufficiently? Cheers, Pdfpdf (talk) 00:29, 29 March 2009 (UTC)

Thanks for cleaning it up it looks good.--Christopher Kraus (talk) 22:50, 29 March 2009 (UTC)

Xavier María de Munibe e Idiáquez

Can you please move that page back? Xavier María de Munibe e Idiáquez is a title, and does not translate as "and" in any case. Akerbeltz (talk) 20:08, 7 April 2009 (UTC)

Nm, I've moved it. Please don't move established pages without raising it on the talk page, Xavier María de Munibe e Idiáquez is a title and does not translate to Xavier and María de Munibe e Idiáquez, it's one person. You'd also missed out the accent on María. Akerbeltz (talk) 20:57, 7 April 2009 (UTC)

AWB

Please be careful when using AWB; this is an inappropriate use of it according the rules of use. If you're looking for something to do, try WP:TSN. --Closedmouth (talk) 07:53, 12 April 2009 (UTC)

Thanks for letting me know, I appriciate this because I am new to this. I just found out about TypoScan before I read your message and I am going to go ahead and try that.--Christopher Kraus (talk) 15:42, 12 April 2009 (UTC)

Interesting "typo fixing". Not that it matters, but I thought you should be made aware. Renata (talk) 17:49, 24 April 2009 (UTC)

I had to undo one of your "typo" fixes in Latvian declension. Please make sure you're dealing with English words before spell-checking. CapnPrep (talk) 23:01, 26 April 2009 (UTC)

User Keeps Removing Warnings from Own Talk Page

{{helpme}} User talk:Lordvader2009: This user keeps getting warned over various things, and keeps blanking the page to cover them. With all the warnings he has gotten, he should probably get a final warning/block by now. --Christopher Kraus (talk) 22:58, 10 May 2009 (UTC)

Users can remove warnings as they'd like per WP:TALK#User talk pages. It just shows they've read it. I've asked an admin to look into this user's actions. Please do not edit war with their talk page (nor anyone else's) in the future. Killiondude (talk) 23:47, 10 May 2009 (UTC)
The admin I asked on IRC was busy. So you could probably post a notice on WP:AN3 if that's the route you wanna take... Killiondude (talk) 23:56, 10 May 2009 (UTC)

{{helpme}}

I posted on WP:AN3, but I am unsure because this seemed more like an article space report board. Does anyone have any further advise?--Christopher Kraus (talk) 00:50, 11 May 2009 (UTC)
You might wanna take that report down since you were in the wrong to edit war on his talk page (per the link I gave previously). I was referring to the edit war taking place on whichever article was the origin of this "talk page war". And yes, that is more of an article space report board. Killiondude (talk) 00:58, 11 May 2009 (UTC)

excuse me

this is my OWN bio that someone has. why cant i delete as i plase? THARIRI (talk) 21:02, 18 May 2009 (UTC)

Sorry if I seem to be intruding, but I'm going to respond on your (THariri's) talk page. Killiondude (talk) 21:04, 18 May 2009 (UTC)

ok...

i mean, yes i understand; but it is a little odd. i guess it's a fair point considering there's no real way for you to know that i am me. good point on the COI as well. well, ok, but the publications need to be heavily formatted and the last one "the gas heart" is incorrect. it's also nowhere to be found online i think, so... thanks a bunch. Help with WP:Books

{{helpme}} The add to book options have disappeared from my left bar. Do I need to re enable it or something? --Christopher Kraus (talk) 22:00, 18 May 2009 (UTC)

That was in testing if I recall correctly. Its not showing up for me anymore either. I'll leave the helpme up in case someone else knows more. Killiondude (talk) 22:07, 18 May 2009 (UTC)
The book functionality has been temporarily DISABLED, after running as a test on the English Wikipedia for signed-in users. Users had several concerns that need to be resolved before the Book functionality is re-enabled.
I got the above message from special:book. I don't know much more, except I think it was a trial-period thing.  Chzz  ►  22:09, 18 May 2009 (UTC)

Speedy deletion tag on Talk:Entranceways at Main Street at Lamarck Drive and Smallwood Drive/GA1

I have removed your speedy deletion tag on this page as it is a Good Aricle Review page and thus by definition does not have an associated article. Thanks. Jezhotwells (talk) 20:44, 31 May 2009 (UTC)

My Mistake; for CSDing an archive page, I didn't see that it was actually a subpage of a legit article.--Christopher Kraus (talk) 21:02, 31 May 2009 (UTC)

Chris, are you still on-line? There are a couple of points I'd like to draw your attention to, if I may.
Any chance you could join me shortly on the talk to us live thing? It really works; there are several people, including myself, sitting there all the time, more than happy to help users with any Wikipedia questions. I'll look out for you there, & if you could also send a msg. either here or on my talk page, better still. Thanks, Trafford09 (talk) 20:27, 1 June 2009 (UTC)

When warning

Hiya Chris. Didn't see you on IRC yesterday (see section above). All I was going to say was, when warning a user, my understanding is that normally one wouldn't give warnings, once the latest edit had been warned about? I know that lets vandals off the hook somewhat, but in theory - WP:AGF and all that - they may desist after the latest warning? So yes it's good to trawl back through their previous edits, reverting all bad ones, but I don't think patrollers normally bother to warn them for such prior edits? May be extra work? But anyway, nice to see somebody so committed to page-patrolling & reverting. And thanks to you they got blocked too. Hope that teaches them. Keep up the good work - down with vandals :) Trafford09 (talk) 23:11, 2 June 2009 (UTC)

Why the wide scale deletion of useful gophone information?

You've deleted a huge portion of the page on the AT&T gophone. Much of that information is difficult or impossible to find, especially in one place, especially spelled out so clearly as it was. Quit it damn it. Your stated reasons for editing are rediculous. Correct the data or leave it alone (or put it back). —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.181.184.22 (talk) 10:57, 27 July 2009 (UTC)
