Welcome! edit

Hello, Chonaron, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Ian and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Permission for picture edit

Hi--I would either remove the comment on the Strep. page that you are asking for permission, or update it that you got permission, so that someone doesn't take the picture down in the meantime. Thanks! --Cprather3 (talk) 05:12, 26 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

Uncited additions to List of insect-inspired songs edit

Hi, I'm a bit surprised at your continued attempts to add materials to this list even though you know you need to add citations for new claims. Blue wikilinks are of some help but they are not citations. Why? Because Wikipedia is not guaranteed to be a reliable source - anyone can edit it, so we only know a claim in another article is true if that is cited --- and we don't want to have to go there and look for citations, we want the citations here in this article, if they exist, or we want the claim removed. I do hope that's clear now! All the best, Chiswick Chap (talk) 06:30, 22 April 2016 (UTC)Reply
