Speedy deletion nomination of Tom Goodness

edit

Please do not make statements attacking people or groups of people. Wikipedia has a strict policy against personal attacks. Attack pages and images are not tolerated by Wikipedia and are speedily deleted. Users who continue to create or repost such pages and images in violation of our biographies of living persons policy will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Thank you.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion," which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Starmania

edit

I've declined your request for speedy deletion as I can't see how it's an attack. Also, your reasoning that because it's closed it should be deleted doesn't work. Wikipedia is an encyclopaedia, and encyclopaedias record things that exist or have existed. It's not 'What's On Tonight?', listing the current programmes only. You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Starmania (TV series). Users are expected to collaborate with others and avoid editing disruptively.

In particular, the three-revert rule states that:

  1. Making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period is almost always grounds for an immediate block.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you continue to edit war, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Salvio Let's talk about it! 10:29, 14 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

To ban a user for such actions is the biggest mistake, an admin can ever make, asshole!! Chodo Habat (talk) 10:59, 14 May 2011 (UTC)Reply
Kindly read WP:NPA; if you attack another editor again, you'll be blocked. Salvio Let's talk about it! 11:08, 14 May 2011 (UTC)Reply
