Hello, Celestiefied, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Ian and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Smoked salmon may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:
  • Some ribs may protrude. Not more than one visible bruise up to 6 sq. cm. (1 sq. inch) permitted).

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, BracketBot (talk) 19:25, 23 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

Smoked salmon

edit

Thank you for your additions to Smoked salmon. However, I have removed the section you added on Salmon Selection, because it is a copy violation of text taken from this site. The site does not allow it's content to be used for commercial purposes, which is a requirement on Wikipedia. You could, if you like, re-enter the material providing you paraphrase it properly in your own words. Regards. --Epipelagic (talk) 04:52, 24 March 2016 (UTC)Reply
