Welcome!

edit

Hello, Cdist07, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I noticed that one of the first articles you edited was Consumers Distributing, which appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.

To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or another editor to proofread it. See our help page on userspace drafts for more details. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.

One rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}} before the question. Again, welcome!   Hello, I'm Meters. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Consumers Distributing, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Those sources do not support the claim that Consumers Distributing is starting up again in 2017. The federal db simply shows that it was registered again in 2015 and is not 2 years overdue in reporting. Meters (talk) 19:06, 4 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Consumers Distributing. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been reverted.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continual disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Don't link to copyrighted material on YouTube. Meters (talk) 19:14, 4 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

Please stop making test edits to Wikipedia, as you did to Consumers Distributing. It is considered vandalism, which, under Wikipedia policy, can lead to being blocked from editing. If you would like to experiment again, please use the sandbox. Stop linking to copyrighted videos. Just because someone put a copyright violation up on YouTube doe snot give us the right to use it. Meters (talk) 19:44, 4 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

Please read WP:YOUTUBE for an explanation of why we cannot link to YouTube videos of presumably copyrighted material. Meters (talk) 20:26, 4 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you remove or blank page content or templates from Wikipedia, as you did at Consumers Distributing. Meters (talk) 18:36, 5 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced material to Wikipedia, as you did at Consumers Distributing. Stop spamming that link into the article. A place-holder website does not support any of the claims in the statement, and even if it did it is not an independent reliable source. Meters (talk) 20:10, 5 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

Please leave the article alone. You appear to have a conflict of interest, and should not be editing this article. See WP:COI You also appear to be a sock of a blocked editor, and as such are not allowed to edit at all. See Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Conhui ‎ — Preceding unsigned comment added by ‎ Meters (talkcontribs) 20:13, July 5, 2017 (UTC)

Your account has been blocked from editing Wikipedia with this username. This is because your username, Cdist07, implies official representation of a company and/or usage by multiple people.

You are encouraged to choose a new account name that meets our policy guidelines and create the account yourself. Alternatively, if you have already made edits and you wish to keep your existing contributions under a new name, then you may request a change in username by:

  1. Adding {{unblock-un|your new username here}} on your user talk page. You should be able to do this even though you are blocked, as you can usually still edit your own talk page. If not, you may wish to contact the blocking administrator by clicking on "Email this user" on their talk page.
  2. At an administrator's discretion, you may be unblocked for 24 hours to file a request.
  3. Please note that you may only request a name that is not already in use, so please check here for a listing of already taken names. The account is created upon acceptance, thus do not try to create the new account before making the request for a name change. For more information, please see Wikipedia:Changing username.
If you think that you were blocked in error, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} on your user talk page, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. ···日本穣 · 投稿 · Talk to Nihonjoe · Join WP Japan! 15:23, 6 July 2017 (UTC)Reply
