I'm glad you've decided to stay! I don't know much about images, because I've never uploaded any, but I think you'll find this page useful. It looks like it has the answer you're looking for.

As for the Timken Campus article, I have a few suggestions:

• Try to keep a neutral writing style when writing an article.
Wikipedia is not a publisher of original thought. Therefore, articles should not be a record of personal experiences and the like; rather, it should be as encyclopaedic as possible.
• An article subject must be notable. This article may not be notable enough to warrant its own article, but if you truly feel it is important enough to be separate from the school article itself, consider instead making it a sub-heading in the Timken High School article.
• When you wonder what should or should not be in an article, ask yourself what a reader would expect to find under the same heading in an encyclopedia. (Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not#When you wonder what to do)

Given all this, the Timken Campus article as it is now does not qualify to be an article, and I have therefore tagged it for speedy deletion (don't take this personally - it's just that it doesn't belong in an encyclopaedia). If you are still interested in the article, then would suggest that instead of creating it right away, you first write it in a user subpage and then ask another editor to read over it to see if it's ready to be an article when you're done. But remember, it must follow Wikipedia's guidelines for an article. That means that the article cannot be a record of your personal experiences.

If you have anymore questions, please leave them on my talk page (instead of my user page) and I will get back to you as soon as I can. --DearPrudence 05:11, 31 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Upload photos

edit

A tag has been placed on Upload photos, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the article and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Proposed deletion of File:Trojan one 2-05 to 8-06.JPG

edit

The file File:Trojan one 2-05 to 8-06.JPG has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

orphaned file, no foreseeable use

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
