Userbox in a box

A userbox is a small box that looks like this, and can come in many styles.

Userboxes are for decorating your userpage and to tell little details about yourself. They have become a fun tradition on Wikipedia. Userboxes help other Wikipedians to know a brief summary about you; you can tell other Wikipedians that you come from Switzerland, that you like classical music, etc.

There are hundreds of premade userboxes to choose from.

And it is easy to design new userboxes. They require just three things to make them: the userbox template, the name of an icon image page, and a blurb that you type in. To see the code for the userbox included here click "Edit" on the toolbar above.

First of all you have a conflict of interest (COI) since you work for UFC for any edits that the subjects are associated/affliated/connected with UFC which included all past and present UFC fighters, marketing agent, UFC fighters coaches, ESPN, and UFC staff. Moonear7 If you have independent, reliable source such as from the newspapers, books or mma media sites, pls provide them on the article talk page or my talk page along with the info needed to be changed or added, and an interested editor will edit it for you. However, if you dont have the source from independent, reliable source that the info can NOT be added/changed since Wikipedia policy is verifiability from independent, reliable source for info added/changed. Since you are here, if you have taken any UFC fighters photos (you are the copyright holder = you took the photo) and would like to release the copyright of the image for anyone to use it, then pls upload them Here and I will crop them in right size to place in the subject pages since we have a hard time to find copyright free images of past and current fighters' images. On behalf of Wikipedia and all MMA editors here, we thank you in advance. I have place a COI message on your talk page since it has come to my attention of your COI with UFC. Recent changes

• The appearance of talk pages changed for all wikis, except for Commons, Wikidata and most Wikipedias (a few have already received this design change). You can read the detail of the changes on Diff. It is possible to opt-out these changes in user preferences ("Show discussion activity"). The deployment will happen at remaining wikis in the coming weeks. [1][2]
• Interface admins now have greater control over the styling of article components on mobile with the introduction of the SiteAdminHelper. More information on how styles can be disabled can be found at the extension's page. [3]
• Wikimedia Enterprise has added article body sections in JSON format and a curated short description field to the existing parsed Infobox. This expansion to the API is also available via Wikimedia Cloud Services. [4]

Changes later this week

• The new version of MediaWiki will be on test wikis and MediaWiki.org from 7 May. It will be on non-Wikipedia wikis and some Wikipedias from 8 May. It will be on all wikis from 9 May (calendar). [5][6]
• When you look at the Special:Log page, the first view is labelled "All public logs", but it only shows some logs. This label will now say "Main public logs". [7]

Future changes

• A new service will be built to replace Extension:Graph. Details can be found in the latest update regarding this extension.
• Starting May 21, English Wikipedia and German Wikipedia will get the possibility to activate "Add a link". This is part of the progressive deployment of this tool to all Wikipedias. These communities can activate and configure the feature locally. [8]

Tool of the week

• Wikidata periodic table - Tool by User:Ricordisamoa, to browse all chemical elements available on Wikidata, with atomic number, chemical symbol, and localized label. It also includes two charts of the nuclides, with links to every isotope in Wikidata, colored by half-life or decay mode.

• A new UI mode is available for the online validator for EntitySchemas. It represents validation reports as a table rather than a very long string, and replaces most links with hyperlinks with some of the text behind them; making them easier to read. ESPN

If you're making the argument that ESPN cant be used for UFC fighters, we're going to have a TON of references to remove. Theres five on that Paulo Costa article alone. And for that matter, UFC.com wouldnt be considered independent either. Nswix (talk) 02:35, 8 May 2024 (UTC)

Nswix UFC is not an independent nor reliable source. We use UFC only when there is no other source can be used for info such as back then reach and stand for the fighter (now we can obtain almost all current UFC fighters' stand and reach from Tapology). We use UFC ranking for fighter as source and extremely limited fighter (direct info) of fighter bjj belt or other things. If we can find other sources to sub UFC source, pls do and highly encourage. ESPN is in contract with UFC and heavyly connected to each other for such make ESPN not independent for UFC and UFC fighter related pages. We dont use ESPN as sources and if the info can be found in ESPN, it always can be found in other MMA sites. (Note: ESPN used to buy content from Sherdog as back then they dont have they own reporters for MMA content and use Sherdog database until not long ago.) We can use extremely sparingly primary source when it is directly of the subject such as fighter's personal info or UFC ranking from UFC site (note: the UFC ranking is not ranked by UFc but by 21 MMA media which UFC records the outcome each week on their site instead on the respective MMA media sites).
