Why your article was deleted edit

The reason your article was deleted is that Wikipedia isn't a notice-board sort of site like Myspace where anyone can post about themselves; it's an encyclopedia, and has strict rules about what subjects are allowed. The word we use is notability, which is not a matter of opinion but needs to be demonstrated by showing "significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject." Significant means more than just listing-type mentions; reliable excludes Myspace, blogs, places where anyone can post anything; independent excludes the subject's own website, affiliated ones and press releases. There's more detail at WP:Notability (people) and, for musical performers, WP:MUSICBIO, and general good advice about writing Wikipedia articles at WP:Your first article.

Also, even if you meet the notability standard, writing about yourself is strongly discouraged, for reasons explained at WP:Autobiography.
