BUSINESS PLOT

On List of political conspiracies, you removed the "business plot" on failed verification. Got no problem with that, but the main page where I got the info and references still stands with those references still stands. Are you going to edit that page, too? Gone too far?

Do you think this has gone to the point where an ANI should be started? [[1]] Springee (talk) 22:29, 30 July 2015 (UTC)

Your GA nomination of Paddlefish

Hi there, I'm pleased to inform you that I've begun reviewing the article Paddlefish you nominated for GA-status according to the criteria.   This process may take up to 7 days. A pie for you!

Hot out of the oven, sitting on the window sill to cool. Thank you for your efforts at Paddlefish. Atsme📞📧 22:16, 21 August 2015 (UTC)

Mother Jones magazine blacklist effort

Please pursue your blacklist of Mother Jones (magazine) through consensus, perhaps may I recommend WP:RSN as a start. Sweeping through our project and deleting references to Mother Jones (magazine) is not the way to go. Pursuing your blacklist of Mother Jones (magazine) at one article talk page, that applies to all articles and all contexts, is not the way to go. If you wish to engage in WP:BRD, you are obligated to participate in discussion. May I respectfully request please avoid "drive-by" deletions of contributions from your colleagues of noteworthy significant content and reliable source references WP:DRNC. The "same material" is not being inserted in multiple articles, just the same source, which I understand you do not like. Thank you in advance. Hugh (talk) 15:09, 22 August 2015 (UTC)

Well, as I have been on wikipedia for many years and have not pursued any such blacklist I am afraid I will have to demur. You however have added material from and a ref to an inappropriate opinion piece from Mother Jones to a (almost) dozen articles after not achieving consensus at the first such. You were warned by another editor about that. You have edit warred to achieve the additions. Since you have been blocked and topic banned for behavior in this vein I think I will not take this advice. Capitalismojo (talk) 16:45, 22 August 2015 (UTC)

Adding categories

Wikipedia categories constitute a tree: some categories are included in broader ones. We don't put everything into the topmost category: we put things into categories most narrowly desribing the subject. For the case of Trotsky: category "Marxists" is a subcategory of "Marxism", therefore we don't need to put him into both. - üser:Altenmann >t 16:51, 29 August 2015 (UTC)
