Use of the articles "the" and "a".

Welcome to Wikipedia. You have inserted "the" and "a" into articles where they do not customarily go. Sometimes it changes the meaning. The rules are sometimes hard to work out. For example, here [1] you changed "ground" to "the ground". Ground in not a thing or a place. It is a concept.
