Hello, Caitlyn3, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Adam and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Patricia Donegan requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, a group of people, an individual animal, an organization (band, club, company, etc.), web content, or an organized event, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. TopCipher 05:35, 27 February 2017 (UTC)

Thanks for uploading File:Khoe Kwadi Ts'ixa Tree.png. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|CC-by-sa-3.0|GFDL}} (to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by MifterBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. --MifterBot (TalkContribsOwner) 02:45, 21 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

Hi. User:Shalor (Wiki Ed) is the Wikipedia expert assigned to your course. Please get in touch with her. Ian (Wiki Ed) (talk) 14:41, 23 October 2017 (UTC)Reply

  • Hi - I took a look and it looks like the article for Ts'ixa already has the content there. Did you still need anything done? Shalor (Wiki Ed) (talk) 14:53, 23 October 2017 (UTC)Reply
  • Another question - is Anne-Marie Fehn's work in the public domain or released under a compatible copyright? If not, then this image would likely be considered a copyright violation since it's copying something that is held under copyright. All work is considered to be held under a non-compatible copyright unless it's explicitly stated somewhere that it isn't. You also didn't add the licensing to the image in question, so it's in danger of being deleted. It's possible that this could fall under fair use, but you will have to add a fair use license to it. Let me know if you need help with this. Shalor (Wiki Ed) (talk) 14:58, 23 October 2017 (UTC)Reply
