Hello, I'm Materialscientist. I wanted to let you know that I removed an external link you added, because it seemed to be inappropriate for an encyclopedia. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page, or take a look at our guidelines about links. Thank you. Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. As I mentioned in my edit summary, the linked page asks to subscribe, "for a symbolic fee" for a course by NCLab, which in turn sells their services. Whatever you're trying, bold reinsertion of http://cadonthecloud.org will result in a block of your account, and your edit summary "I am not promoting NCLab but cloud-based CAD systems. The site features multiple commercial products" does not go well with our WP:SOAP policy. Sure, you can solicit third opinion, but outside of mainframe articles. Request reason:
I would like to know the reason why I was blocked, other than not sharing the view with Material Scientist. I have added a link to a wiki page that gives an overview of cloud computing CAD resources. Note that this aspect of contemporary CAD design is not represented on the current Wikipedia CAD web page at all. Thank you, CadPerson (talk) 10:55, 23 December 2012 (UTC)
Decline reason:
The warnings you received contain links to applicable policies. Max Semenik (talk) 11:14, 23 December 2012 (UTC)
If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
