Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, one or more of the external links you added to the page Naked Cowboy do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a collection of links; nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove unwanted links and spam from Wikipedia. If you were trying to insert a good link, please accept my creator's apologies, but note that the external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia.

The external links I reverted were matching the following regex rule(s): rule: '\bmyspace\.com' (link(s): http://www.myspace.com/nakedcowboysmusic) . If the external link you inserted or changed was to a blog, forum, free web hosting service, or similar site, then please check the information on the external site thorougly. Note that such sites should probably not be linked to if they contain information that is in violation of the creators copyright (see Linking to copyrighted works), or they are not written by a recognised, reliable source. Linking to sites that you are involved with is also strongly discouraged (see conflict of interest).

Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! XLinkBot (talk) 20:07, 28 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Lee Evans (music producer) edit

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Lee Evans (music producer), and it appears to be very similar to another wikipedia page: Lee Evans (producer). It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 18:15, 29 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Redirected Lee Evans (music producer) edit

Hi Cabletekk, I redirected the article you just created, Lee Evans (music producer), to Lee Evans (producer) because the content on your page was identically the same to Lee Evans (producer), the main article. That way, if someone searches that term, or an article links to the "(music producer)" page, like this, it will redirect to the original article. It wouldn't be good to have two articles about the same topic, since different edits will be made to them, the articles would look different, and it wouldn't be as easy to keep track of the article's history. Leave me a note on my talk page if you have any other questions. Thanks for your patience! :) --JamieS93 18:28, 29 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hi again. :) Actually, when naming an article, it's best to pick the most generic title as possible. "Producer" is the best to use in this case, because it's as generic/simple as possible. Even if it could refer to a film producer, that's alright; there's a lot of articles like that. As an example, if there were two music producers of the name Lee Evans, the titles would have to be distinguished. Such as "Lee Evans (US music producer)" and "Lee Evans (UK music producer)", which is sort of what's going on here. But if there was only one Lee Evans, regardless of his occupation, the title would simply be "Lee Evans". At the moment, since you have the option of simply titling it with "(producer)", it's best to pick the most simple title as possible.
As for your comment "I couldn't figure out how to just change the name or delete Lee Evans (producer), maybe I can't yet since i'm still a new user." First off, only administrators can delete articles, and user accounts that are four days old can move pages. I believe that tomorrow you should be able to move pages, since your account was created on the 27th. At this point, I can't move your Lee Evans (music producer) article to Lee Evans (producer), since both pages already exist. But the best thing to do at this point would be to copy the contents of Lee Evans (music producer) and paste it over at Lee Evans (producer), so you've technically be "moving" the page's contents. If you need any help with that, let me know.
I hope it's a bit clearer now! Happy editing, JamieS93 13:18, 30 May 2008 (UTC)Reply
