Copyright problem

Wikipedia has a lot of rules and guidelines, and it's easy to get tripped up by them when starting out with editing. It's important to note the policy about usernames: Wikipedia expects editors to contribute as individuals instead of having organizational-level names, so you'll want to follow the instructions at the top of this page to get your account renamed. Hey there, for the image at File:Screen Shot 2015-06-16 at 2.12.45 PM.png, since it already exists on the CFAER website, it's best to go through the formal Wikimedia Commons process to establish that you have permission to license it under a free license. The way to do this would be to send an email to the OTRS system from an official CFAER email address. The version you uploaded directly to Wikipedia may be renamed or removed for not having adequate evidence of permission. These rules are a bit fussy, but they help make sure that Wikipedia isn't violating people's copyrights. Dreamyshade (talk) 22:39, 16 June 2015 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on File:Screen Shot 2015-06-16 at 2.12.45 PM.png requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Center for the Arts Eagle Rock. While objective prose about beliefs, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion.
