Today 03-12-19 I updated my draft article on Leo Jenkins and added a photo - open source government publicity photo. Hope article can be published soon. Thanks. Buddy Wilkes.

Where's evidence of the photo license? —C.Fred (talk) 01:43, 13 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

I am not able to provide any information on the photo, and I cannot figure out how to delete it. Sorry for the confusion. Thanks, Buddy Wilkes.

Conflict of interest with J. P. Strom?

edit

Greetings! I notice that you attempted to add a website that you claim authorship of to the J. P. Strom article. Further, I notice that you claim to be the photographer who took the picture used in the article. Could you please clarify your relationship with Strom and/or his estate? I am concerned that your connections cause a conflict of interest for you regarding this article. —C.Fred (talk) 22:45, 12 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

The photo of J.P. Strom that I added is an open source stock publicity photo used by the SC Law Enforcement Division during the tenure of Chief Strom. The photo has appeared in many publications over the years including law enforcement publications, newspapers, etc.
I did add a link to a Google site that I created. It consists of a collection of references concerning the history of the SC Law Enforcement Division.
I am the author of the J. P. Strom article.
Thanks, Buddy Wilkes
Can you demonstratively prove that the image has fallen into the public domain or is placed under an open source license? At the least, you need to correct the license tags, because they are not photos you took. —C.Fred (talk) 01:37, 13 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

Although I knew Chief Strom, he has been deceased for many years, and I am not in a position to document the legal status of the photo. I have spent an hour trying to delete the photo and I cannot figure it out. Thanks for your help. Buddy Wilkes.

I've nominated the images for deletion. —C.Fred (talk) 02:45, 13 March 2019 (UTC)Reply

Thanks. Sorry for the confusion. Buddy Wilkes.
