Discography pages

edit

There are more Rfd nominations for similar pages, made by the same user, such as this one. Imperatore (talk) 19:48, 6 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

The Abyss has heard you and commented here. --Bsay@CSU[ π ] 19:52, 6 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
Thanks for the quick reply. Here is another culprit which has not been addressed yet: Geffen Records discography. However, at least this one does not appear to be a hoax, since my random check test of five listings revealed they really are Geffen releases. It still shares the many other issues addressed with the other pages though. Imperatore (talk) 20:07, 6 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
I'll list it, and we can let the community decide. --Bsay@CSU[ π ] 20:10, 6 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
I think we've covered all of them with the nominations of E1 Music discography and Jive Records discography. Imperatore (talk) 21:56, 6 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

OLP

edit

There are no reliable sources that indicate that "OLP" is used at all as an initialism for "Our Lady of Peace", but it is certainly widely used as one for "Our Lady Peace", the music band. In addition, the rock band's name is often mistaken as "Our Lady of Peace", so it's best to indicate that on the Our Lady of Peace page. I can scrounge up some sources if need-be. — CIS (talk | stalk) 00:15, 9 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of British females who reached number one on the Hot 100 (United States)

edit

Hello, Bsayusd! I noticed your response at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of British females who reached number one on the Hot 100 (United States) and wondered what your reaction to my suggestions and questions there would be. Nobody else seems to be paying attention to the value of the information or the question of merging or expanding the list. Thanks in advance if you're willing to comment, whatever your take might be. Abrazame (talk) 05:37, 10 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

I thank you for your response at my talk page and at the AfD. Despite what was claimed about me there, I was not the person who created the list that was deleted (I merely edited it a time or two and added context to the intro), and I have never edited the broader List of artists who reached number one in the United States. As I also never got any definitive input on Wiki policy regarding adding flags of nationality to lists, I will not be doing so. Unless someone else does, I suppose Wiki is slightly the worse for it, but if nobody's going to weigh in with a policy statement while everyone's standing around killing the article, despite my asking like five times there, I'm not going to waste my time in that regard further. But again, I do appreciate that you responded to me. Respectfully, Abrazame (talk) 23:09, 15 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

I noticed you have experience in JavaScript. I'm hoping you can help me with a problem I've run into writing a userscript.

Please see my post at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject JavaScript#Nested RegExp.
