Associates overload!

@Lugnuts and A Simple Human: Take a look at Associate international cricket in 2022... can't believe how much stuff has been added this week. Definitely going to need to help each other out in June and July to keep on top of things, as I know I won't be wanting to follow this many matches so closely! It's good to see so much going on though. Fixtures have been added for 6 big events (global qualifier, 3x Europe sub-regionals, Kwibuka, and women's Asia Cup qualifier) and the Germany tri-series, plus a few men and women's bilaterals (some of which I think we are going to have to creates article retrospectively when there are some reports in Cricket Europe, etc). There is an 8-team Afro-Gulf event coming up in Tanzania as well, plus the returning Central Europe Cup, and of course the various League 2, Super League, Challenge League stuff on the main season page. Yup looks overloading. The associates are taking advantage of being granted T20I statuses. Some brought back obsolete tournaments just for that reason. Good for them but not for us apparently. Human (talk) 18:27, 1 June 2022 (UTC)

Morning! Thanks again for all your work on this. Looks a very competivie tournament. Even Botswana with three losses from three aren't getting bowled out for silly low totals. Redirects

Any idea why redirects are there for bilateral series such as Malta v Belgium & Swiss v Luxembourg. Ankurc.17 (talk) 10:26, 12 June 2022 (UTC)

@Ankurc.17 Because the series do not pass GNG or NPCRIC for notability. If these are created without independent reliable sources (not czarsports) they will get deleted by admins. We might (hopefully) create later if reviews are published, but we must assume every associate bilateral will get a page. There are some who would say the season page is enough. @Ankurc.17 czar is ok for finding info but its just a rehash of anything found on socials. Admins have proposed deletions on a few occassions. Basically AMs are usually amateur and so we need to have some coverage in local media in addition to anything from the boards. cricinfo scorecards are not relevant to notability. Morning - hope you are well. Just a heads-up with this is saying that the UAE progressed to the final due to a better NRR. Netherlands-Namibia match numbers

Hello; apparently ESPNcricinfo is using the wrong match numbers for the first three Netherlands-Namibia matches (e.g. 1553 and 1554 instead of 1153 and 1154). Maybe they're confusing the numbers with men's T20Is; could you help them rectify this? Thanks Mashfi23 (talk) 12:51, 29 June 2022 (UTC)

Central Europe Cup

@Lugnuts and A Simple Human: Evening gents. I saw that Czech Cricket had reached out to Cricinfo via socials to ask for minor amends to the 2022 Central Europe Cup cards. Only things I spotted affecting the page was one toss change, but also several umpires changes. I know you guys look after umpires stuff so you might want to check the list article for the three umpires now on the series and the Austrian guy who doesnt seem to be involved now. @Mashfi23 Apologies if any confusion. I was watching the live card and the result had been added when there were still a few balls left, when a result was likely but not certain. Perhaps you had a card more advanced or you had a live stream (which card were you using?). No offence intended, I didnt look to see who it was... some people do do that sort of thing. @Aditya tamhankar Brilliant stuff. I am a Jersey/Guernsey supporter so I am very happy. They dont have ODI status, but will at least play ODIs in the playoff. @Aditya tamhankar If Jersey could get to the main qualifier (or just finish high enough to be in League 2 if there is another edition) that would be great, but will not be easy to finish above two of PNG, Canada and US/Namibia/Nepal. 2023 ICC Women's T20 World Cup

Hi Sir, I was nicely posting West Indies women's cricket team Innings score for today's match on Page 2023 ICC Women's T20 World Cup. A user named 'MNWiki845' came and simply deleted my whole edits without any reason. His step didn't make any sense to me. He has done same two times in past without posting any reason for his such deletion edit but was ignored by me ethically but If we all start doing same practice this can go against Wikipedia's policies. It is requested to please refrain and warn him from doing so yourself. If you want to check his edit you can check it between my edits at around 14:43 UTC on the same page. @بلال طاہر Hi, thanks for getting touch and for your contribitions. I saw that you made a small mistake in the total but that is.no reason to undo all of your updates. He does have a habit of wanting to do certain scores himself. It may be possible that he encountered edit conflicts because you appear to have made multiple edits that you could have done in one edit - he does that too. Many new profiles for the SEA Games have now been created, and I see that a few among them are duplicates too. Normally I'd ask you to get the names to your contact, but this time- would it be possible for you to get the link of that list I mentioned above through to ESPNcricinfo? @Mashfi23 I have reported the one false debut from the Singapore womens game today. btw the official schedule (and groups) is different to cricinfo so changes may be needed at some point. @Mashfi23 Yeah its been tricky. I have been so busy with other things (wiki and others) so have only been getting it into the calendar article. If you have a list of duplictates, I can def pass it on (saves me finding them). Plan to leave the fixtures as per Cricinfo until they update day by day. Here is the (incomplete) cricclubs link in case you havent found it... you can navigate to the various events. Someone has created an article for men's and women's which is a decent start. Didn't even notice that CricClubs doesn't have the full fixtures, but at least they're there... the sudden fixture changes might become a bit of a headache though, on top of what's already happening/happened. @Mashfi23 There are now decent pages at Cricket at the 2023 Southeast Asian Games – Women's tournament and Cricket at the 2023 Southeast Asian Games – Men's tournament. Would be great if you could help keep an eye on them. I have rearranged fixtres for all events based on the spreadhseet published by one of the associations. Someone had attempted to complete a couple of the women's t10 cards but they were really bad and needed editing.
