editI do not wish to engage in an edit war, and I hope we can resolve this dispute. The citation you re-introduced links to a source that is considered unreliable, according to WP:Reliable sources. It is considered unreliable because the reference that website uses for its assertion regarding itself. Wikipedia articles cannot cite other Wikipedia articles. I hope you now understand why I removed the citation, and I hope we can now work together to improving Wikipedia. Thank you for reading, and sorry for any offence I may have caused. 183.171.182.68 (talk) 13:19, 31 May 2017 (UTC)
Welcome!
editHello and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.
I noticed that one of the first pages you edited on Wikipedia appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that page.
In addition, if you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for any contribution you make, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation to comply with our terms of use and our policy on paid editing.
Here are some pages that you might find helpful:
- Best practices for editors with close associations
- Plain and simple conflict of interest guide
- The five pillars of Wikipedia
- Contributing to Wikipedia
- Tutorial
- How to edit a page and How to develop articles
- How to create your first article (using the Article Wizard if you wish)
- Simplified Manual of Style
- Task Center – need some ideas of what kind of things need doing? Go here.
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date.
New article creation can be difficult, but the Article Wizard can help you. The new user tutorial can help you avoid future problems. You can also ask for help at the TEAHOUSE and on IRC chatAgain, welcome! --Deepfriedokra (talk) 14:01, 31 March 2022 (UTC)

editHello. I'm Serge, an admin here on Wikipedia. I've noticed that most of your edits so far have been to add content related to Wall of Sound - a website with a writer that matches your user name. Please be aware of Wikipedias policies related to having a conflict of interest, and/or our stance against using Wikipedia for WP:PROMOTION or WP:SPAM. In short, Wikipedia isn't a means for you to "spread the word" about things, especially ones you're tied to.
You're welcome to use Wikipedia in a general sense, but not like this you've been doing. Thanks. Sergecross73 msg me 15:57, 31 March 2022 (UTC)
Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. 🇺🇦 FiddleTimtrent FaddleTalk to me 🇺🇦 19:45, 31 March 2022 (UTC)
