Sources Borked

Thanks for remaking

Hey Briguy nice that your remaking the Roblox article this will really help everybody find it plus even though Im not flaming blockland but why should they get an article and ROBLOX which is about 5 times as big barely get any 3rd party forces and blockland gets an award--15avaughn (talk) 02:11, 21 July 2008 (UTC)

Administrator note

I contacted the admin who previously deleted the Roblox page. He had this to say.

":Hi. I think the references are now good enough for notability. What I advise you to do is format all references as inline references (in appropriate places) using the {{cite news}} template and remove external links from the body text (they should be in footnoted references where necessary). You can also lose the NYT link, because it only mentions Roblox once, briefly. Then you should submit your draft to WP:DRV, asking for community permission for its restoration.

Note that I deleted File:ROBLOX Screen.jpg from Commons because as a screenshot of a copyrighted game it was itself a copyrighted derivative work."

Lua References.

We have references, interwiki links, and straight facts. You removed references and placed your own info. You can add all the info you want but removing valuable references isn't constructive. See, the problem is, oh so long ago when I first started on this project, I was a normal user trying to get this back.

Cleanups and Sources

Improvements.

I am kinda anxious to take the article back to WP:DRV but there are some issues that must be cleaned up first. WP:MOS is important. We need to proofread the article fixing grammar and wording. We also need to do a little advert cleaning as some of the wording we are using sounds promotional. Of course we always need new references. That has been an issue forever.
