editHello, Brent-polestar. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Polestar 2, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:
- avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, colleagues, company, organization, clients, or competitors;
- propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (you can use the {{edit COI}} template);
- disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see Wikipedia:Conflict of interest § How to disclose a COI);
- avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam § External link spamming);
- do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.
In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.
Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. —TechnoSquirrel69 (sigh) 15:06, 27 September 2023 (UTC)
- Thank you for the valuable input and apologies for any transgressions - new to this. I am not a paid editor, but I am employed by Polestar (public relations). My changes have been based on fact corrections or latest information updates, but I guess I will have to suggest them all as proposed edits. Brent-polestar (talk) 15:51, 27 September 2023 (UTC)
- Thanks for the clarification. If you are employed by Polestar but have not been paid specifically to edit Wikipedia, please read this section of the conflict of interest guideline, and follow the instructions laid out over there. Also, most of your changes have been made without the use of reliable sources. Wikipedia has a policy of verifiability, which means that you need to provide a reference for changes that you make so readers know where the information is coming from. Let me know if you have any questions! —TechnoSquirrel69 (sigh) 16:10, 27 September 2023 (UTC)
Please do not add or change content without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. —TechnoSquirrel69 (sigh) 15:11, 27 September 2023 (UTC)
