Welcome!

Hello, Brendankeane, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Ian and I work with Wiki Education; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

I undid your edits to The Inconvenient Indian

edit

I realize you are the original author, but when you yanked all the references, it made the page vulnerable to deletion since Wikipedia requires reliable sources for verification.

If you need to yank the references again but intend on replacing them in short order, please use the {{under construction}} and/or the {{inuse}} templates and leave a note on the article's talk page saying when you expect to restore or replace the references. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs) 02:24, 24 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hey David, sorry about that. I deleted stuff on the page for the purpose of an assignment I have to do for a class, wherein any edits should be submitted to my sandbox before they're published to Wikipedia, but thank you for re-adding them. I explained my situation to whoever is supervising my assignment. I'm new to editing on Wikipedia, so thank you for the tips! Brendankeane (talk) 03:16, 24 November 2020 (UTC) brendanReply
