Nancy Eisenberg is a psychologist and professor at Arizona State University. She was the President of the Western Psychological Association in 2014-2015, and the division 7 president of the American Psychological Association in 2010-2012. Her research focuses on areas of emotional and social development of children. She received her B.A. degree from University of Michigan-Ann Arbor. She went on to receive her M.A. degree at University of California as well as her Ph.D. She holds numerous prestigious awards in the field of psychology from institutions such as NICHD, NIMH. She has also received the Stanley Hall Award for Distinguished Contribution to Developmental Psychology and William James Fellow Award for Career Contributions in the Basic Science of Psychology from the Association for Psychological Science.

Lead discussion

The pros of this lead is that it provides a good description of Nancy of her current work and studies. It also does a good job explaining about what she does and the contributions she has made to the field of psychology. The lead is well written to include the vast research she has done so that the readers know the person is experienced in their field.

The negative of this lead is that it mainly focuses on her research and does not include any important moments or achievements in her career. If those parts were to be include as well other facts of her life outside of just research it would provide a more solid overview of the person.

This is a very well written lead section of the article, it provides a good overview of Nancy Eiesenberg, and some of her major accomplishments. It does not go too in depth and this is good because we will go into detail further in the article. Something which could be worked on is the style of writing. Rewording some of the sentences will make the article seem more professional.
