Braun elevator

edit

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Braun elevator, and it appears to be a substantial copy of https://cn.linkedin.com/company/braunelevator.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. (If you own the copyright to the previously published content and wish to donate it, see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for the procedure.) Speedy deletion nomination of Braun elevator

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Braun elevator, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which articles can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may be soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Your article

edit

You said that this was from your "company linkedin page and now we'd like to extend our company info to Wiki for a better service". I don't think you understand Wikipedia. LinkedIn is a directory where you can publicise your business. Wikipedia, on the other hand, is an encyclopaedia and advertising and promotion are not allowed here. We also insist on notability for the subjects of articles - please see WP:CORP and also WP:RS about the reliable independent sources needed to prove the notability. In addition, we cannot accept copyright text because of our free licensing under CC-BY-SA 3.0 and the GFDL. This licence allows anyone anywhere to reuse our text. including use for commercial purposes and modification. Your text has been published on LinkedIn, and it is copyright, which means it is not compatible with our licence. You should also read WP:COI (conflict of interest) which is about editing on subjects that you are very close to. Peridon (talk) 17:21, 13 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

Requested username:

Request reason:

Sorry about making this mistake. I ignored the rules before publishing. But I do like to contribute to Wiki. I thought I will revise your rules carefully first and get back to contribute Braun elevator development to Wiki. Sorry about that again. It will be very appreciated if I still have the chance to do that with another new username. Just let me know then:-)

Decline reason:

I have zero confidence in your future ability to contribute constructively because (1) you have clearly ignored/refused to understand the purpose of Wikipedia, which is clearly delineated at the top left hand corner of all Wikipedia pages; (2) same goes for the instructions in the block message; and (3) you cannot even get the name of this site correct. You'll have to try another one - first, it still represents the company, and second, it's already taken anyway. Go to the edit window, change the name and click Preview. Then you can use the check availability thing in the preview. Peridon (talk) 18:19, 13 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

You mean I need to choose a new user name or company one being already taken? Please in detail.

'Braun' is a name that is already taken by someone. You should choose something different (you don't have to use your real name, and you must not use the company name and I advise not having 'elevator' in your choice). You could choose 'Herbert at Braunelevator' (or something else instead of Herbert - but it must be a person name not a job title or anything like 'marketing'), or you could be 'Friedrich the Aardvark', 'Ethelbert Pling' or a lot of other made up things. Peridon (talk) 19:18, 13 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for your professional reply. Understood. I'd like to choose "Friedrich" as my new user name. Do i need to reregister this user name or just leave it here and you will help me to change?

Your account has been blocked indefinitely from editing Wikipedia because it appears to be mainly intended for publicity and/or promotional purposes. If you intend to edit constructively in other topic areas, you may be granted the right to continue under a change of username. Please read the following carefully.
Why can't I edit Wikipedia?

Your account's edits and/or username indicate that it is being used on behalf of a company, group, website or organization for purposes of promotion and/or publicity. The edits may have violated one or more of our rules on spamming, which include: adding inappropriate external links, posting advertisements and using Wikipedia for promotion. Wikipedia has many articles on companies, groups, and organizations, but such groups are generally discouraged from using Wikipedia to write about themselves. In addition, usernames like yours are disallowed under our username policy.

Am I allowed to make these edits if I change my username?

Probably not, although if you can demonstrate a pattern of future editing in strict accordance with our neutral point of view policy, you may be granted this right. See Wikipedia's FAQ for Organizations for a helpful list of frequently asked questions by people in your position. Also, review the conflict of interest guidance to see the kinds of limitations you would have to obey if you did want to continue editing about your company, group, organization, or clients. If this does not fit in with your goals, then you will not be allowed to edit Wikipedia again.

What can I do now?

If you have no interest in writing about some other topic than your organization, group, company, or product, you may consider using one of the many websites that allow this instead.

If you do intend to make useful contributions here about some other topic, you must convince a Wikipedia administrator that you mean it. To that end, please do the following:

  • Add the text {{unblock-spamun|Your proposed new username|Your reason here}} on your user talk page.
  • Replace the text "Your proposed new username" with a new username you are willing to use. See Special:Listusers to search for available usernames. Your new username will need to meet our username policy.
  • Replace the text "Your reason here" with your reason to be unblocked. In this reason, you must:
    • Convince us that you understand the reason for your block and that you will not repeat the edits for which you were blocked.
    • Describe in general terms the contributions that you intend to make if you are unblocked.
If you believe this block was made in error, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. Peridon (talk) 17:13, 13 March 2015 (UTC)Reply
