Hello, and thank you for your contribution to Wikipedia. I noticed that you recently added commentary to the Sea Dogs article. While Wikipedia welcomes editors' opinions on an article and how it could be changed, these comments are more appropriate for the article's accompanying talk page. If you post your comments there, other editors working on the same article will notice and respond to them, and your comments will not disrupt the flow of the article. Thank you!   Hello, I'm Jim1138. An edit you recently made to Triathlon at the 2008 Summer Olympics – Men's seemed to be a test and has been removed. If you want more practice editing, the sandbox is the best place to do so. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks.   Please do not add or significantly change content without citing verifiable and reliable sources, as you did with this edit to Triathlon at the 2008 Summer Olympics – Men's. Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Jim1138 (talk) 04:32, 14 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

Simply adding [4] is not a working citation. Please see wp:inline citations. An inline citation begins with a <ref> or <ref name=... and ends with a </ref> (ignore the nowiki stuff). Please figure out how to do this before replacing your information. You can inquire at the wp:teahouse or wp:helpdesk Thank you Jim1138 (talk) 04:46, 14 April 2016 (UTC)Reply

Hi, I can see you are trying to add some additional info to this article but there are a number of issues with the text. Firstly it reads as more of an opinion piece and not like an encyclopedia entry, secondly the citations you are now adding don't support what is said in the text (also citations of other Wikipedia articles aren't suitable). I suggest you take a look at WP:CITE and WP:Encyclopedic style for some tips and, as Jim1138 mentions, there are places you can make inquiries if you need further help.
