Sorry new to Wikipedia, not new to the Domobranci and Slovenia. My grandfather was a major general for the Domobranci, and I have many first hand recounts of the Domobranci and his time during WWII. The Domobranci did not swear allegiance to the Nazi. Some may have shown that, but they were fighting the worse of the two evils, the Partisans that were killing their own people. There are numerous books that specify this, and to say that the Domobranci had an allegiance to the Nazis is false, just because of a ceremonial oath of allegiance. Most Domobranci never took that oath, and it was only to appease the Nazis. Most Domobranci fought against the Nazis prior to 1945.
I am in the process of dissecting more information to include on this page, such as Slovenia 1945 by John Corsellis and Marcus Ferrar.

There is no conflict of interest when I have first hand accounts of the truth, have numerous books on the matter. It even states on the discussion page that the Oath was not to Hitler, but rather an Oath as a Domobranci to be a Slovenian Home Guard. Domo branci specifically means Home Guard, not Nazi Guard. You are taking one small, mislead part of a whole larger picture. Allegiance means that they would have been fighting for Nazi, and they weren't, they were fighting for their Homeland against the Communists that took no prisoners, killing of them. The Nazi's were not mass killing the Slovenians. I have provided numerous references stating that during an occupation, it is not considered allegiance, as well as books (from first hand accounts), that state they were not Nazis, so for you to keep stating that without any proof, it seems you must have some hidden agenda. Secondly it states "editing involves contributing to Wikipedia about yourself, family, friends, clients, employers, or your financial and other relationships. Any external relationship can trigger a conflict of interest. " I am not editing anything about myself, my family, friends, etc... I am editing about something I know a lot about. - OK. Just be aware that you should not be attempting to positively skew the coverage of the Home Guard due to your family connection to it. This is referred to as being on Wikipedia to WP:RIGHTGREATWRONGS and is actively discouraged because it is a form of advocacy. The fact that your only edits are to this article is an indication that you might be here for that purpose.
