Recent changes edit

Your recent edit to Brigid Boden has been reverted. Your claim to be Ms Boden cannot be substantiated, but the referenced facts in the original version of the article can be substantiated. Wikipedia requires reliable sources, more stringently for biographies of living persons than for other articles. The changes you made, while you claim them to be "not personal opinion" are, in fact, heavily skewed. If there are factual errors in the article that you can correct with cited sources, please feel free to do so. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 15:59, 16 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Bodenme - I'm sure you are who you say you are. As someone with many, many thousands of digital recordings stacked up in different places, "One Glimpse Of You" has long been in my all-time top 100 - can't explain why, but I love it. So, I'm sorry if you disagree with the additions I originally made to the article - but, as WikiDan61, says, there are ways in which articles are written here, and ways in which they are not written. Articles should not be written by the subject of the article - that would be a conflict of interest - see also WP:AUTO. We only report and summarise what other outside reliable sources say. Nothing personal about it at all. If you know of other published sources of information about yourself which are unbiased and independent, please flag them up on the article talk page, and I will certainly do what I can to incorporate them into the article. And if there are factual inaccuracies in the current article - even if they have been published elsewhere - please detail them on the article talk page so that I or others can follow them up. But it would be better if you stayed away from editing the article yourself. :-) Ghmyrtle (talk) 16:35, 16 March 2010 (UTC)Reply
