Speedy deletion nomination of Ben Blower

edit

Please refrain from introducing inappropriate pages, such as Ben Blower, to Wikipedia. Doing so is not in accordance with our policies. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. — Zhernovoi (talk) 18:21, 11 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for your contributions. One of your recent contributions has been reverted or removed, because it contains speculative or unconfirmed information about a future event. License tagging for File:Lpoolkits.png

edit

Thanks for uploading File:Lpoolkits.png. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 18:05, 14 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for uploading File:Mckits.png. You don't seem to have said where the image came from, who created it, or what the copyright status is. Man City Kit Image

edit

Hello. I'm concerned that the image you provided for this edit might be a copyright violation and may be deleted. Have you the required information to update the detail here? Thanks. gonads3 10:50, 15 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

No need to aplogise for good faith effort. Had you considered fulfilling the requirements on the image file page, here? I know editors are keen to revert the use of images that seem to be violations of copyright, especially where some of the required detail is missing. I note that all three have been reverted since you made your changes to the Arsenal, Liverpool and City pages. How did you create these? I'm curious as they seem very professional. Did you buy each shirt for the photo? These are questions an admin may ask. Perhaps this will help. I'd suggest updating them and then try reintroducing once the copyright status is clear. Okay? Good luck. gonads3 21:23, 16 August 2010 (UTC)Reply
I think that if you leave those images as they are they will just be deleted. I'm not sure that finding a photo on the web and reworking it satifies the copyright regulations. However, please be Bold in you edits, just add any reliable source to the edit summary. Don't fear making any changes, just be prepared to have anything unsourced be challenged. I would only revert when a reliable source doesn't exist and I can't locate it. My responses on the 13th were an attempt at having you communicate, nothing more. Plus, it would seem, that I am newer than you. Good luck. :) gonads3 08:12, 17 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

That third strip looks just like the one in this link. Looks like copyrighted to me. Have you contacted for distribution? Please consider the path you are taking. Thanks. gonads3 19:16, 18 August 2010 (UTC)Reply
