Speedy deletion contested: List of Online Games for Kids

Hello Bk314159, and thanks for patrolling new pages! I am just letting you know that I contested the speedy deletion of List of Online Games for Kids, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: list (A3 doesn't apply); try PROD. I believed that criterion A3 did apply because the page consisted exclusively of a collection of external links. Although there was no section explicitly titled "External links" (or similar), it did still consist of only external links, and was thus eligible for A3. Bk314159 (talk) 13:17, 7 August 2010 (UTC)

It was a list, which would be a collection of links, therefore, we use common sense and fix it. Some of the external links in the "list" have actual artices. Regards,  ʄlame  17:22, 7 August 2010 (UTC)

For the record, the deletion rationale was "A3 *does* apply to lists that consist exclusively of a directory of external links with no linking content." Lists aren't always just collections of links. Let's see. If you're asking what I think you're asking, sort of like this:

So I've got this page User:Sonia/about:config, and I want to link to the "things I do on Wikipedia" section from two revisions ago. I'd go to the history and open up the revision I want, which would be this one. Then I'd click on the link to the section I wanted, in the contents box, then copy the URL: here. Speedy Deletion of Crédit Mutuel declined

Thank you so much for patrolling and tagging new articles that don't meet our standards, but I did have to decline your CSD of Crédit Mutuel which is actually a notable company. If you aren't sure if something meets CSD in the future try doing a google search to see if the topic is notable or simply use a different form of deletion such as WP:AFD or WP:PROD.
