Regarding AniTa Terminal article notability

edit

The AniTa article

I have been asked by one of your advisors to first create the AniTa article in order to reference it from the above articles. As far as I can see, there are already a number of references in the above 2 listings that are accepted in the Wikipedia as standalone articles. Most of those articles are informative in the same level and with less external references as the submitted AniTa article. I have read the notability guidelines, but I can't see what makes for example the PenguiNet article more in line with the guidelines than the AniTa article. Am I missing something here. Please advice in what way I can improve. Bjornkarl (talk) 14:13, 10 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of AniTa (Windows application)

edit

The article AniTa (Windows application) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

no assertion of notability, author's WP:OTHERSTUFF is not a strong argument

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Using Wiki pages as a daily source for information, I understand and appreciate your concern. Conflict of interest must be a common problem in Wiki pages. In this case, I admit I have a long relation to the AniTa technology and I know most of the facts about AniTa. Me being the author of the article is what it is and can't easily be changed, and if this is in hard conflict with the Wiki rules, then I will have to ask you if you think there is some other way to modify the article to get it accepted. I have really tried to make it unbiased and stay away from all text that could be viewed as promotion or advertisement. Would it help if some other people edit the article? In order to remove possible smell of advertisement, I am now in the process of removing the list of features as it may have looked like ads.
And, I don't want to remove any Wiki editors "proposal for deletion" tag, however I would appreciate if the article is not removed within such a short time period.
