Requested move 17 February 2017 edit

Wikipedia:Featured nihilartikel candidates/European toilet paper holder → ? – At the page's present name, it technically qualities for {{Db-subpage}}, but the page itself should probably not be deleted. However, I have no idea where this should be moved. Either way, wherever it gets moved, the leftover redirect should be deleted per {{Db-subpage}}. • Who cares? It's not hurting anything where it is. Jenks24 (talk) 06:21, 27 February 2017 (UTC)Reply
    • @Jenks24: Per {{Db-subpage}}, pages at titles such as this should not exist since Wikipedia:Featured nihilartikel candidates doesn't exist. And even if it did exist, if it existed on the English Wikipedia, it would most likely be a redirect ... which would have then, in turn, been nominated by me per WP:FORRED. The page existing at the title that it did would make readers think that Wikipedia:Featured nihilartikel candidates exists and/or is a page with current or former significance to the English Wikipedia, which is not the case at all. Black Kite's resolution seems sufficient since pages in the user space aren't subject to the same subpage scrutinies as other namespaces. (But either way, I will shortly start some work to fix incoming links since some pages have the former title linked.) Steel1943 (talk) 16:17, 27 February 2017 (UTC)Reply
Looks like most of these links are caused by transclusions of {{Dashboard}}, so I'm holding off fixing links for now until the false positives disappear. Steel1943 (talk) 16:20, 27 February 2017 (UTC)Reply
It's moot now, but just because G6 applies to something doesn't mean we have to delete, just that we can if it would improve Wikipedia. It would not make readers expect Wikipedia:Featured nihilartikel candidates to exist because it's clearly a joke page. This has just created busywork for not gain to the project. @Jenks24: FYI, It was actually G8. And your issue with this move request was why I created a move request rather than moving this page WP:BOLDly: I wasn't sure whether or not this would be controversial. Steel1943 (talk) 12:50, 28 February 2017 (UTC)Reply
  • I've moved it to Bishonen's userspace, where the actual "article" resides anyway. Black Kite (talk) 16:04, 27 February 2017 (UTC)Reply
