Notability of Wildat Capital Management, LLC

edit

A tag has been placed on Wildat Capital Management, LLC requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Iunaw 03:27, 14 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hola

edit

I noted with interest that you've recently made some edits to articles about places in the Scottsbluff area. I thought I'd recognized your username from earlier, and your talk page has stuff going back to 2008; but your list of contributions makes it look like you're new to this editing business.

In case that's so, it's nice to see you aboard. We need more editors in Nebraska, particularly outstate. Hope that you'll stay on and continue contributing.

I'm based in Kearney myself, but have done a lot of edits to articles throughout the state. In the course of that, I've picked up some useful online sources, particularly for historical information. Would be glad to share, if your interests in editing lie in that direction.

I've also done a lot of photography in Nebraska. I'm not a great photographer by any means, but with a little luck and good light I can generally get acceptable photos of buildings and things. I don't hit the Panhandle as often as I'd like, but I usually make it out there at least once a year. I'm responsible, for example, for a lot of the photos at Commons:Category:Scotts Bluff County, Nebraska. If you're working on an article that wants an illustration, and you can't find one that you like at Commons, please feel free to drop a line at my talk page and I'll try to shoot your subject the next time I'm out that way.

Also, if you're interested, let me call your attention to WikiProject Nebraska, which is a place for editors interested in Nebraska-related subjects to discuss them. The project's been fairly inactive of late, but it'd be nice to see it revived.
