Request reason:

My IP does not belong to open proxy. Actually I host my LaTeX rendering service on the IP: http://quicklatex.com/ . There is no open proxy functionality. The reason might be in that I bought hosting few months ago and previous user maybe was using the IP for an open proxy.

Decline reason:

Procedural decline, since no reply, I presume you no longer need help or have found another machine to edit from? If you have any more trouble, let us know. Seraphimblade Talk to me 05:10, 31 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

When I ping www.quicklatex.com, I get back 88.198.52.246, which is not blocked. Could you please post the exact block message you see when you attempt to edit? Seraphimblade Talk to me 04:08, 25 May 2012 (UTC)Reply
I see the following message:

You are currently unable to edit pages on Wikipedia. You can still read pages, but you cannot edit, move, or create them. Editing from 88.198.0.0/16 has been blocked (disabled) by Zzuuzz for the following reason(s): The IP address that you are currently using has been blocked because it is believed to be an open proxy. To prevent abuse, these proxies may be blocked from editing Wikipedia..... BigNum (talk) 04:43, 25 May 2012 (UTC)Reply

Thanks. I'm speaking to the admin who did the proxy block now so that we can determine if there's still an issue there. In the meantime, please keep in mind that you are not personally blocked, so you're welcome to edit from any other machine or network. Seraphimblade Talk to me 05:01, 25 May 2012 (UTC)Reply
Hello. The circumstances of this block do not appear to have changed, that is, you are editing through a web server targeted by the block in a network range which has seen a lot of open and anonymous proxies ... very similar to your server in fact. Is there any particular reason you need to proxy through your webserver? It is not an appealing prospect to softblock a hosting IP which could again be re-leased to an anonymous proxy service next month, or might even be currently shared by one, though I see no evidence of it. To the reviewing admin, WP:IPBE would be my suggestion. -- zzuuzz (talk) 05:49, 25 May 2012 (UTC)Reply
Yes, no problem, I just will use another server for internet connection. BigNum (talk) 05:20, 31 May 2012 (UTC)Reply
