County vs. Township
editI was lax in its usage. I didnt give much thought to the difference. Go ahead and change it if you think so.--Zereshk 08:35, 17 January 2006 (UTC)
- I think I remember now. It was User:Diyako that insisted on using township.--Zereshk 00:05, 21 January 2006 (UTC)
MIMO
editCall it something like Multiple-input multiple-output (communications) instead, then. This is more in keeping with how we usually name such articles. You'll also need to make Multiple-input multiple-output (disambiguation) and link there to the two articles you referenced on my talk page. Do they both exist? -Splashtalk 00:41, 7 March 2006 (UTC)
- That's not a name by which it is usually called, though. Journal titles with that in them would all be a number of years old by now. It also doesn't talk explicitly about dual antenna arrays which is certainly the meaning in the article (as it should be, since we have other articles for TX and RX only diversity.)-Splashtalk 21:07, 7 March 2006 (UTC)
Message
editI saw your message on the Farsi WP you left for me.
Thank You.
The problem is that my typing (editing) speed in Farsi is 1/10 of what it is in English. Verrrrrrrrrrrry slowwwwwwwwww. It is very difficult for me to type in Farsi. It took me 2 hours exact to type the 5 or 6 sentences on the Farsi Texas page. (I was logged in as an anon user at the time, but it was me).
Ammaa omeedvaaram bezoodi aadat konam. The Farsi WP needs help too.--Zereshk 07:49, 18 March 2006 (UTC)
Sepas
editSalam
Thank you for your message. I wish you a happy Norouz and New Iranian Year too. I am from Khuzestan (from the Behdarvand clan). I should still learn more about Bakhtiaris and their cultural heritage. Thank you again and good luck. Nima Nezafati

editThanks for adding the 'Farsi' page, I can't wait to get my keyboard or just farsi labels so I can contribute to the Persian wikipedia. Bedrud --Kash 19:23, 29 March 2006 (UTC)
Sangesar
editIve done a little bit of a cleanup on a page you contributed to quite a bit - Sangesar (Mahdishahr) - and I was wondering if you wouldnt mind checking it to see whther I havent created any errors inadvertently. I also noticed that the article refers to Sangesar but the title was Sangsar so I took the plunge and fixed the title based on some google research. Tyhopho 11:40, 11 April 2006 (UTC)
- Actually, I haven't written the page. User:Ashkan h is the author. Bidabadi 16:34, 11 April 2006 (UTC)
Corbin
editI noticed you added a link to the Persian page. What are some Persian views of his work. Am thinking of expanding the english version in the near future. When you have time. Pvazz 05:47, 9 May 2006 (UTC)
Deletions
editWhen you look at the contribution histories of those participating in the discussion, and the rationales offered (or not offered) for their opinions, the consensus is clear. Kind regards, Nandesuka 00:19, 15 May 2006 (UTC)
3RR
editI have investigated your claim of a WP:3RR violation against User:Ahwaz and have ruled that no violation actually took place. 3RR kicks in on the fourth revert, not the third. This message should not be taken to imply that I am condoning Ahwaz's behaviour, however. I am simply ruling that no 3RR violation took place in this instance. --Yamla 19:46, 31 May 2006 (UTC)
- Sorry, I don't normally put these things on the user page. :) Thanks for moving it, Bidabadi. --Yamla 15:31, 2 June 2006 (UTC)

Your account will be renamed
editHello,
The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. One of the side-effects of this is that user accounts will now have to be unique across all 900 Wikimedia wikis. See the announcement for more information.
Unfortunately, your account clashes with another account also called Bidabadi. To make sure that both of you can use all Wikimedia projects in future, we have reserved the name Bidabadi~enwiki that only you will have. If you like it, you don't have to do anything. If you do not like it, you can pick out a different name. If you think you might own all of the accounts with this name and this message is in error, please visit Special:MergeAccount to check and attach all of your accounts to prevent them from being renamed.
Your account will still work as before, and you will be credited for all your edits made so far, but you will have to use the new account name when you log in.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Yours,
Keegan Peterzell

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
