Thank you, -- DASHBot (talk) 05:09, 24 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

Dashbot, i shall respect your decision but i really am not happy about it… that picture was only 20 x 20 pixels (not very offensive), up in the right hand corner, and was there for good purposes… Now i had to put that silly little yellow circle instead. Never Mind the Bollocks was a much better illustration of my comment.  :(
Thank you (i do mean it, because you are after all making Wikipedia a better place), and happy editing! (if a bot can be happy…) - Benzband (talk) 08:42, 24 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

October 2011 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, there is a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Using different styles throughout the encyclopedia, as you did in Sergey Brin, makes it harder to read. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. The MOS instructs us to write the articls as plain prose, not styled like corporate logos or other insignia. DMacks (talk) 19:28, 30 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

Please don't add corporate colours to article text as you did at Google and Gmail. Not only does this violate the WP:MOS, but it also offends WP:NPOV. We are here to create neutral encyclopedia articles not act as the marketing arm of Google. Adding logo colours like this makes it look like Wikipedia is written by Google or at least endorses Google. - Ahunt (talk) 19:31, 30 October 2011 (UTC)Reply
OK, i'm sorry. Seeing as it offends so many people, i won't do it again (although the colors looked good). And also my very last intention was to do marketing for Google (help, no!). Really. I'd even prefer it being seen as vandalism towards google (well, not quite). Stupid edit by me (and nice day to you, too :) … Benzband (talk) 08:35, 31 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

Happy Halloween! edit

Wilhelmina Will has given you some caramel and a candy apple! Caramel and candy-coated apples are fun Halloween treats, and promote WikiLove on Halloween. Hopefully these have made your Halloween (and the proceeding days) much sweeter. Happy Halloween!

If Trick-or-treaters come your way, add {{subst:Halloween apples}} to their talkpage with a spoooooky message!

Cheers! Wilhelmina Will (talk) 05:01, 31 October 2011 (UTC)Reply
