Hello, I'm Asukite. Your recent edit(s) to the page Calixa Lavallée appear to have added incorrect information, so they have been removed for now. If you believe the information was correct, please cite a reliable source or discuss your change on the article's talk page. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page.  A S U K I T E  03:21, 28 March 2021 (UTC) I cited a book published by a university press. Perhaps you could say specifically what information you believe to be incorrect. Most of the information that was on the page before I edited was incorrect.Reply

Hi, sorry for that. I replied on my talk page explaining my rationale. Have a great weekend! A S U K I T E  16:10, 28 March 2021 (UTC)Reply
One more thing - I noticed that a couple of the sources you cited were authored by an individual with the name "Brian Christopher Thompson", who shares the initials that make up part of your username. It may not be to much of a leap for us to assume that you are that person. Per WP:SELFCITE, it can be acceptable to cite your own work, but you should be cautious as this can be construed as a conflict of interest. I have no problem with it, personally, as clearly a lot of work went into those papers, but some editors will interpret that as self-promotion or spam. Any alternate sources you can add along with your own work (particularly the ones your work is drawn off of, if possible) will help to alleviate such issues.
Furthermore, this may apply here: if you are in any way receiving money for editing, or even receiving money for copies of your work that may be sold to users who found it here, you are required by Wikimedia Foundation policy to disclose this. Thanks again. A S U K I T E  16:51, 28 March 2021 (UTC)Reply
