edit

  Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions, such as the edit(s) you made to Agra, did not appear to be constructive and have been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use your sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Do not change the order per your preference. It is maintained alpgabetically per MOS:LISTORG guidelines. Also maintain the WP:COMMONNAME of the article in the list which is "Shiv Dayal Singh" only. Wikipedia do not use honorifics per WP:NCIN and MOS:HONS policies. So terms like 'Seth', 'Ji', 'Shri', 'Maharaj' are not allowed Fylindfotberserk (talk) 11:44, 3 May 2022 (UTC)Reply

  Please stop your disruptive editing.

If you continue to disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Jaimal Singh, you may be blocked from editing. Stop adding honorifics. You are not following policies WP:NCIN and MOS:HON. Fylindfotberserk (talk) 12:49, 3 May 2022 (UTC)Reply

  You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Agra. Do not add honorifics. Fylindfotberserk (talk) 13:17, 3 May 2022 (UTC)Reply

  You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Jaimal Singh. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Fylindfotberserk (talk) 10:39, 5 May 2022 (UTC)Reply

Continued disruption.

edit

I've blocked you again, When your last block expired, you resumed your disruption. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia. Wikipedia does not use honorifics per WP:NCIN and MOS:HON policies. So terms like 'Seth', 'Ji', 'Shri', 'Maharaj' are not allowed'. You've been told this before. Your edit summary, "learn to respect spiritual gurus," tells me you are not here to build this encyclopedia, but to subject Wikipedia and its users to your religious practices and beliefs (I have my own which I keep out of the articles.) So, if you disrupt Wikipedia by editing without logging in and/or after this block expires, your next block will be without a set expiration. Thanks. --Deepfriedokra (talk) 14:56, 3 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

Removal of protection templates from protected articles.

edit

Please stop your disruptive editing. Your removal of these templates does not remove the page protection. It does signal your intent to resume disruption. Please stop. --Deepfriedokra (talk) 12:04, 3 July 2022 (UTC)Reply

  • Further, I have had to revert your changes to Jagat Singh (Sant) because of your flagrant disregard for the Manual of Style, particularly MOS:HONORIFIC. Further such edits will be dealt with as pure disruption. —C.Fred (talk) 15:35, 3 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
    @C.Fred: Thanks. Looks like I'll need to fulfill my promise of an indefinite block. --Deepfriedokra (talk) 16:06, 3 July 2022 (UTC)Reply
