Was there some reason you left a vandalism warning on my talk page? Please provide diffs to any edit of mine which you consider to be vandalism. Otherwise I shall assume you left the message in error and remove it.Thanks, Gwernol 20:36, 27 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Okay, message received.

You have been temporarily blocked from editing for vandalism of Wikipedia. Please note that page blanking, addition of random text or spam, deliberate misinformation, privacy violations, and other deliberate attempts to disrupt Wikipedia are considered vandalism. If you wish to make useful contributions, you may come back after the block expires. 20:43, 27 August 2006 (UTC)

Unblocked, but please don't leave these messages on talk pages, even your own, since that is misleading and will be considered vandalism. Thanks, Gwernol 20:57, 27 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

  • We can't unblock you at this time, because you haven't given us the information we need to even look into your block. You yourself were not blocked; if you were prevented from editing, you must have been autoblocked or blocked because of your IP address. I'm removing your unblock request because there's nothing we can do without this information. If you still want to be unblocked, feel free to add the {{unblock}} tag back to this page, and be sure to include the message you saw when you tried to edit, including the IP address. This is what the message looks like. Without that information, we can't help you. ЯEDVERS 09:56, 28 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Gypsy musicians edit

Your list page would be better integrated into the [[Category:Roma music]], which would avoid duplication and save us from another "list" article. Djcartwright 05:16, 1 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Sorry...it was a band vanity article and therefore a speedy deletion. If you can establish this band's notability, feel free to rewrite it but if you're unable to, another administrator is almost guaranteed to delete it within a couple of minutes. - Lucky 6.9 05:38, 1 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Hi, I'm afraid Portal:List is only for fully-completed portals. You're welcome to add your addition back, once it has finished construction. Please see Wikipedia:Portal for further instructions. Thanks :) -Quiddity 21:22, 27 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

Dancehall edit

Hi, sorry that I didn't respond any sooner, but I've been quite busy. As to your questions: Nope, I'm not Jamaican (I'm European), I'm no deejay (wish it were so) but I like Dancehall. Thanks to both the tunes and the internet, I've read my way through the modern part of Dancehall, that's all. But if you're interested in this music as well, perhaps we can get some more articles started here. There's a whole lot missing. Sid 18:15, 23 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

I ask that you please let me know when the Portal is completed. Thanks --Javierbaires1 02:32, 9 January 2007 (UTC)Javierbaires1Reply

AfD nomination of Notch (deejay) edit

I've nominated Notch (deejay), an article you created, for deletion. We appreciate your contributions, but in this particular case I do not feel that Notch (deejay) satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion; I have explained why in the nomination space (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and the Wikipedia deletion policy). Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Notch (deejay) and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of Notch (deejay) during the discussion but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. RJASE1 02:11, 10 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

List of riddims edit

Just letting you know that List of riddims, which you created, is currently listed at AfD. I didn't list it there, but I felt that as creator you might want to know. You're welcome to contribute to the discussion. BigHaz - Schreit mich an 09:56, 14 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Baby Ranks edit

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Baby Ranks, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

Non-notable per WP:MUSIC.

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Unreferenced BLPs edit

Hello BashmentBoy! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. Please note that all biographies of living persons must be sourced. If you were to add reliable, secondary sources to this article, it would greatly help us with the current 938 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

  1. Grupo Aguakate - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL

Thanks!--DASHBot (talk) 19:59, 2 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Don Chezina edit

A tag has been placed on Don Chezina requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles – see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Proposed deletion of Yoskar Sarante edit

The article Yoskar Sarante has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

I cannot find any in-depth sources to cover the article's subject (though my Spanish is lacking). Currently fails WP:GNG

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. All Hail The Muffin Nor does it taste nice... 01:42, 26 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
