Welcome

Hello, Bansheend and welcome to Wikipedia! It appears you are participating in a class project. If you haven't done so already, we encourage you to go through our training for students.

Go through our online training for students.

If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}} before the question. Please also read this helpful advice for students.

Before you create an article, make sure you understand what kind of articles are accepted here. Remember: Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and while many topics are encyclopedic, some things are not.

Your instructor or professor may wish to set up a course page, and if your class doesn't already have one please tell your instructor about that. It is highly recommended that you place this text: {{Educational assignment}} on the talk page of any articles you are working on as part of your Wikipedia-related course assignment. This will let other editors know this article is a subject of an educational assignment and aid your communication with them.

We hope you like it here and encourage you to stay even after your assignment is finished! Drm310 (talk) 04:30, 28 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

Group article selection

edit

Kathleen - I had issues when trying to send email to folks, so I have posted the following on Tim's and Brittany's "talk" pages. Paul Brittany - I sent the following to Tim on his "talk" page. Paul

Tim - I tried to email all other group members Saturday, and could only reach Brittany (user error other - I do not know). I am including my email text below. Please let me know if you have any questions, concerns, or commentys. Please also let me know whose "Talk" page you want to make primary. Paul C. Mott

Folks - I do not have access to a computer where I'm staying, so have to use city or campus facilities. My dependence on public transportation and multiple health issues also limits my in-person meeting availability, but I can always check email and use the Internet from my phone.

I am interested in many aspects of psychology, but my own background is my first BSW in Social Work, and my current second BS studies in Emergency Management.

Specialized areas of study for me have included victimology, the abuse cycle of violence, the Kubler-Ross stages of grief, disaster and responder mental health, and current personal interest in Narcissistic Personality Disorder.

But I am flexible, and willing to go with group consensus. Just let me know whose "talk" page we'll use.

If you need to reach me, my cellphone and personal email follow. Paul C. Mott pcmott@yahoo.com 512-431-0073 Paul.mott (talk) 15:12, 14 September 2015 (UTC)

You need to be more active on these assignments

Kathleen, you contributed very little to the discussion on choosing a topic. You should realize that if you stay in the background on this project, you will lose points. If you have problems that are holding you back from participating fully, please let me know. 174.126.200.250 (talk) 01:20, 22 September 2015 (UTC)Reply
