Original research edit

Hi there. I just wanted to explain why I reverted your edit to Goodfellas. Unfortunately, Wikipedia has a policy of not allowing editors to perform their own research, known as original research. Wikipedia is built upon verifiability, which means that we require reliable sources – such as newspapers, books, and magazine – to do the research for us. If you can find a source that states that the film was shot in Brooklyn, you can add it to the article, but you shouldn't modify sourced content to say things that it doesn't say. If you have questions, you can get help at the tea house, a welcoming forum for new users, or the help desk, a forum for technical help on editing Wikipedia. Please do not edit while logged out as an IP editor. You are edit warring to include information that does not belong in Wikipedia. You can be blocked for this if you continue. NinjaRobotPirate (talk) 03:13, 10 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Goodfellas. MarnetteD|Talk 03:21, 10 March 2015 (UTC)Reply
