Images at your userspace

edit

Hello! I noticed you have a fair use-licensed image at your user and talk page. Unfortunately, per the 9th Fair use criteria policy, images with such license can only be used in articles, as the Wikipedia fair use exceptions does not include talk pages nor user pages. I advice you to remove the fair use images before someone else does. If you have any questions, please contact me at User talk:Llama man or at Wikipedia talk:Fair use. Thanks for understanding! --Llama man 00:08, 21 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Happy now that my favorite image is gone? Baby Princess Peach 00:12, 21 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

For a description of what a fair use image click here. Incidentally, on my user page, I used to have a few fair use images that I really liked, but I got a message on my talk page saying I should delete them, so I regretfully did. For proof, click here. --Llama man 14:12, 21 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned fair use image (Image:Babypeach.jpg)

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Babypeach.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that the image is unlicensed for use on Wikipedia and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you.
