Welcome

edit

Hello, Baad, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and vote pages using three tildes, like this: ~~~. Four tildes (~~~~) produces your name and the current date. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! --Machaon 13:53, 5 October 2005 (UTC)Reply

Talageri

edit

Hi Dab. The sentence about Witzel not having read a copy of Talageri's book is based on the 9th chapter of Talageri's Rig Veda book, please see this link for details: [1]. There may be additional information that supports this, e.g. that Witzel (AFAIK) didn't refute this claim in his review of Talageri's book.

If I'd readd the sentence, I'd make sure to explain the matter in more detail. (It's however not a priority for me right now.) I fully understand your removal of the sentence, because the case wasn't stated clear enough.

Wish you a nice holiday! --Machaon 13:53, 5 October 2005 (UTC)Reply

Russian Far East

edit

Please see Talk:Russian Far East for comments on why it should not redirect to the Far Eastern Federal District. I undid the redirect. Thank you.—Ëzhiki (erinaceus amurensis) 18:28, 28 October 2005 (UTC)Reply

Higgs boson consensus vote

edit

There is currently a vote on the Higgs boson talk page over whether or not to merge the pop culture references article with the main article. I noticed you've previously contributed to the debate, so your vote would be helpful in establishing a consensus (or, perhaps, a vote of "no consensus", in which case the problem will be referred to AfD). Thanks! -DMurphy 21:35, 30 March 2006 (UTC)Reply
