Speedy deletion nomination of Herb rule iii

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Herb rule iii requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.) or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Στc. 02:41, 27 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Herb C. Rule III

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Herb C. Rule III requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, a rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. Sorry, I may have deleted this a bit fast--my apologies if you were still working on it. If you're trying to make an article for the first time, can I recommend WP:Articles for creation? That way, you can work on the article for a while without worrying about how long it takes, and once you're done an established editor will review it to see if it should be moved into the main article. As you do that, you'll probably want to review WP:BIO, which explains a set of rules we have about who can and can't have articles on Wikipedia--in order to have an article, you'll need to be able to demonstrate how the person is notable. If you have questions, I'm happy to help as well. 03:13, 27 June 2012 (UTC)

Rule

edit

Please stop attempting to turn the Herb C. Rule III article into a campaign website. The only reason why Rule can have a WP article is because he was once a member of the Arkansas House of Representatives. His current campaign is actually a minor note in his biographical article. Rule's opinions are not important enough for inclusion. If you continue to attempt to make this an extension of his campaign, I will seek to have you blocked from editing.
