Help me! edit

I have a new bio on Wikipedia and see that I have been labeled an "orphan" I have a colleague who sites me in red font as one of his "influences" on his Wikipedia bio. Can this be an external like to my Wiki bio and thus make my name appear in blue so that the link is established?

Please help me with... Establishing this link and any other advice to enable me to graduate from "orphan" status. Thanks

I am closing your request, as you have asked this at the Teahouse. Please ask a question in only one location, to avoid duplication. Thanks 331dot (talk) 20:47, 1 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

William Eaton is a colleague who cites me in red font as one of his "influences" on his Wikipedia bio. Can you help me convert this to a citation in blue font so that it will be an external link to my Wiki bio? Thanks BBbb0528 (talk) 19:49, 2 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

How can we get rid of "orphan" notice on new Wiki biography?

Please help me with... A bio of me has recently appeared on Wikipedia. A prominent notice at the top states that it is an "orphan" entry because of a lack of links to it from other Wiki articles. I carefully went through your online suggestions to establishing such links, but was unable to gain any relevant information or helpful suggestions. However I did find one link: a Wiki bio of a colleague William Eaton (NIH scientist) who refers to me as an "influence". I am very concerned about this reference to my "orphan" status at the top of my Wiki bio. How long will it remain there? It has negative connotations and I would like it to be removed from my bio as soon as possible. Can you help? Thanks H. Franklin Bunn BBbb0528 (talk) 21:28, 3 August 2019 (UTC)Reply
