Disambiguation link notification for June 11 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Shraddha Kapoor, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Marathi (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Caste edit

Thank you for this consideration. Caste is an extraordinarily problematic area on Wikipedia, and it is subject to ArbCom discretionary sanctions, which means that if it is perceived that someone is monkeying around with castes or trying to assert A over B, admins can quickly deal with it to prevent problems. I'm not saying that's what you're doing, I'm mentioning this to you just so you're aware it is a very dicey area to be casually editing in. As noted in my edit summary, caste labels require self-identification per longstanding community attitudes at WT:IN. Some folks like Amitabh Bachchan have disavowed caste, so we want to be sure that the individual gets to decide what they are or are not. Kind of like with religion. A newspaper doesn't get to decide what religion you are, that's up to you. In an event where we are not 100% clear that a person is of ___ caste, we should remove the information. Last names don't count, because an Australian could be a Reddy. Thanks for understanding, Cyphoidbomb (talk) 15:53, 5 August 2019 (UTC)Reply

Please take note edit

Hi,

Some things you should know:

  • First, please stop edit warring - it could get your account blocked.
  • Use the talk page and discuss the change per WP:BRD.
  • Please spare others this childish, fan talk of "if you hate her".
  • Please remember you do not own any page on Wikipedia.
  • It might be useful to see WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS - the fact that other pages have some thing doesn't mean this one should too.

Thanks, ShahidTalk2me 10:27, 4 December 2021 (UTC)Reply

With whom do you want me to discuss it with? All of the three users who has disagreed are sleeping contributors they don't even contribute to her page. Everybody give a damn and why Wikipedia got a page of the most followed accounts if really it does not matter at all. Atrociousrainbow (talk) 21:23, 4 December 2021 (UTC)Reply
Hi again. On the talk page discussion that I started. I personally feel that this Instagram mention so early in the lead belittles her achievements as an actress and makes her into some sort of reality star. If you disagree, try to explain why you think it is important there. I might support you, I'm always willing to change my mind and convince the others. Just please discuss it.
