Speedy deletion nomination of Thomas Thaulow Stöcklin

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Thomas Thaulow Stöcklin requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Ben Ben (talk) 00:12, 7 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

Thomas Thaulow Stöcklin

edit

Your article Thomas Thaulow Stöcklin had {{Afc submission}} in it and it was in need of work before being placed in the main encyclopedia, so I moved it to Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Thomas Thaulow Stöcklin. Since the Afc submission template indicates the article is still in "draft" stage it will not be reviewed until you click where it says "click here." Please read WP:BLP and WP:POLICIES before submitting your draft article for review.

I also moved the now-unneeded talk page to User:Atlanta10/Thomas Thaulow Stöcklin - Talk. If you no longer need this information, you can replace it with {{db-user}} and an administrator will delete it within a few days. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs)/(e-mail) 00:52, 7 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

The article still exists at Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Thomas Thaulow Stöcklin, but it's in a "draft" location where it will not be indexed by major search engines and where you can work on it at your leisure, without people putting tags like this and this on it. Please read Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons, Wikipedia:Policies and guidelines, Wikipedia:Reliable sources, and Wikipedia:Inline citations and improve your submission, then submit it for review. Assuming this person does meet Wikipedia's notability requirements, the article will be in good shape when it is moved to the main encyclopedia.
By the way, the preferred way to ask other editors questions is either on article talk pages, as an {{afc comment}} (for Articles for creation submissions only), or on user talk pages, like I am doing here. davidwr/(talk)/(contribs)/(e-mail) 04:08, 7 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

A tag has been placed on Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Thomas Thaulow Stöcklin, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.
